Cabin Fever March 6-9 , 2008 If you've never been there, you have no idea what you're missing. There was so much talent there you just couldn't believe! We saw so many really good pickers this weekend at the Hampton Holiday Inn (thanks for opening your doors to us bluegrass nuts) we were simply in awe. Our photographers (yes, that's two photographers) had a great time taking pictures all over the hotel and even caught some faces you may recognize besides ours! Again, we cannot thank Cabin Fever enough for allowing us to showcase on Saturday night after the supper break. We had a blast pickin' for Jesus. We sure hope to see everyone again at Cabin Fever 2009!
Hickory United Methodist Church February 9, 2008 This was our second visit to Hickory UMC for another fun-filled Saturday evening performance. We were one of many groups that gathered to sing familiar songs about God and His power to save us from an eternity away from Him. Some friends and family joined us and had a great time listening to us play and sing. Some of these pictures were taken by our webmaster's young daughter. Not bad!
Rehearsal at Don's Garage January 30, 2008 I thought I'd start out by giving you a glimpse into the not-so-glamorous side of being in Solid Rock's band. It was late on a cold Wednesday night after everyone had already put in a full day (some more than a full day) of work. They all came into Don's garage looking tired and sore, but left that evening rejuvinated and refreshed. Why? Because the Holy Spirit has a way of blessing you when you sing of God's mercy and grace.
